PMR: Pet harness by PETBABA

 To-day we celebrate JuJu's first official modeling gig in our review of pet harness by PETBABA in size "S". Amazon link. Modeled by @JuJuTheSphynx. 


  JuJu's measurements are 9" neck, 16" back, 15.5" chest, 18" belly. The product is intended to be worn by a dog, so the smallest size available at the time of writing ("S") just fits with a little room to breathe on the tightest setting. JuJu's chest is 15.5" vs 15.7" of the smallest adjustable harness size. JuJu doesn't have hair to squish down, so his measurements are the size of his actual body without fluffy fur to complicate the sizing. The harness is just a wee bit big this way, but it still fits well enough to use and it is very high quality in construction. If the company ever offers a smaller "XS" size, I may prefer to purchase it as a replacement, but I'm still happy with this one. :) 


  I took him out into the backyard, on a visit to a few local shops, and to a local fair in his new harness in order to review it. I'm happy to say it holds up very well. It seems like, with all his clothes, he can Houdini his way out of it if he really wants to if left to his own devices, mostly when he's bored in his stroller. However, this is something that can't really be avoided unless something is uncomfortably tight on him, so the product is not at fault. Either way, he typically behaves and doesn't try to get out of it, but combined with the leash pulling in the opposite direction from the back, I'm confident in its security. It also has tiny reflective strips on the side of the straps for safety.


  JuJu has sensitive skin and clothing/harnesses rubbing, especially in his armpits, can chafe and be a problem. I am happy to report that on the tightest setting, it fits nicely and doesn't chafe him. The soft, breathable fabric allows his skin to get airflow which helps improve comfort and decrease sweating. There are two options where you can hook a leash, either a single loop on the front of the chest or a double loop on the back. The leash is not included with the harness.

Overall, I am very happy with the premium quality of the product, and would highly recommend it for small to medium dogs who fit the measurements of the various sizes.
