Swim Elite anti-fog goggles review - My Favourite Things

Today I'm going to tell you guys about my goggles from Swim Elite, a new company that has been in development for awhile. If you'd like to check them out for yourself, here is the Amazon link to the product I purchased: Swim Elite premium bundle. I got the colour "Mirrored White".

Disclaimer: I was given these in exchange for an review on Amazon, and as always, gave my own honest opinions, but I'm not required to do anything other than an Amazon review.  I just LOVED them so much that I just had to do a blog post about how awesome they are! :D

Okay guys...this is coming from a long time swimmer and professional mermaid....THESE ARE SERIOUSLY THE BEST GOGGLES I'VE EVER OWNED. Period. I could stop the review there, but no, I must go on! :)

First of all, the price is a steal. At the time of writing this, you get the goggles, the fancy case, some different sized nose bridge pieces, and a free reversible swim cap...all for $20 with free Prime shipping!!! Due to the premium quality of the goggles themselves, I'd put a $45-$50 price tag on them and happily pay that, but with everything that comes with the bundle, I couldn't' be happier. <3

I forgot to take pictures with the additional nose bridges! :( Whoops!

As soon as I opened the package and felt the case, my first thought was "Oh man, this is nice!". The case itself is top notch of course, too. It has indents on it for your fingers for easier carrying, and it's incredibly sturdy to protect your goggles. I have no fear of the goggles breaking inside it. I admit, I get in a good mood when I'm headed to the pool and pack the case and its contents inside my back, I just love it that much. x)

The swim cap is really nice also. I previously used a silver long hair swimcap from Speedo, and I like this one better. It doesn't pull my hair as much, and even though it isn't marketed as a "long hair" swimcap, I'm able to get my massive mane up in there pretty well anyway. I LOVE the fact that it's reversible too! I can either have it the lovely blue cap you see in the photo, or have a classic black cap. What a great idea, and a very generous bonus in the bundle! :D

As I said in the photo caption above, I forgot to take pictures with the additional nose bridges that come in the bundle. :( There's two additional nose bridge pieces so you can select the one that fits you best, how nice is that? The goggles size around the head is also adjustable, so the kit fits just about everybody,

Now...drumroll please...onto the goggles themselves! Sometime after I got them (a longer while than I'd have liked, conflicting schedule hours) I took them up to the local college pool to give them a live test. As I said in the beginning, these are the BEST goggles I've ever owned. I was absolutely blown away. I've tried lots of different swim equipment, including all sorts of goggles, from dollar store garbage to brands that claim to be top of the line, and this blows the competition out of the water. Pun intended.  I will never buy another brand again. I've even had issues with brands like Speedo and Nike that I didn't have with these.

First of all, an easy way to tell if your swim mask or goggles have a good seal is to attempt to stick them to your face without using the strap. If the suction makes a seal for at least a couple of seconds, they're at least mid grade, the longer the seal holds, the better. These passed this test. I didn't have ANY leaks the entire time I was in the pool, which was an hour or two. Not a drop.

The other thing which totally sold me on these was their anti-fog technology. I hate foggy goggles, and taking them off and putting spit in them to unfog them is a pain kind of icky, especially if I'm somewhere where I have to pretend to be classy and professional. I wasn't sure if by "Anti-fog" they meant it took longer, or was less, or what, but what I discovered is that they don't fog at ALL. No fogging, no leaks, no problems what-so-ever.

The mirroring darkens the room a bit, but not it's not too dark, and does make it easier to see underwater, in my opinion. The shape of the goggles allow a wide range of vision, too. I love that they also protect against UV rays, so they act as mermaid sunglasses! :D Can they get any better?

Speaking of mermaid, here are some clips I took at the college pool while testing these to review. :)

Mermaid Werandra underwater II - Swim Elite goggles

Well friends, that's about it. I'm sure by now I've burned it into your mind how much I love these, but check them out for yourself. Stop wasting time with other brands that leak and fog. They're only $20 for the entire bundle, they're definitely worth a shot, trust me! :)

THANKS, SWIM ELITE! <3

Here's that Amazon link one more time! ;)

Until next time!
