Good evening, friends! To-day I have a happy post for you, just sharing some joy from my personal life. :)
Life is very kind to me. The past two weeks have been very good and very productive. I have been trying to change my mindset to a more positive one, and so far, so good.
Last weekend I did a short photoshoot out in the yard with Mum; she put my hair up how I like it, and we took advantage of a patch of tall grass for a background. It was an absolutely lovely day outside, and the photos turned out nice!
Before the photoshoot, Mum and I laid about in the lounge chairs out of doors for an hour or so. Some of the friendly outdoor cats came to say hello. Here I am with my little friend, Patches.
Also, Mum helped me dye my hair, a very messy and tedious process, but well worth it. I am now happily in possession of raven lockes! (I can now officially be described as "Tall, dark, and handsome"- teehee!)
Aside from my new lockes, this weekend I also got a few other nice things: a wax seal with two colours of wax, and a lovely leather pencil holder, complete with some nice new pencils. I also finished reading "Jane Eyre", so now I can get to work on two other books I got for my birthday; "Picture of Dorian Gray", and one from my Indian penpal, Jatin ("Atlas Shrugged"). :)
I have been kept busy with family matters. Mum's father, Pop-pop, is up visiting from Georgia. Speaking of visits, my cousin, Joe, came home from marine boot camp for a few days. I went with him, his two siblings, and their father to see the new Godzilla movie. :) It was very nice to spend time with them, and the movie was cool. I had fun! Time is flying by so fast. Summer is fast approaching!
Have a lovely day, dear reader. Until next time; farewell!

My new profile photo! The Native American genes really show here in my facial structure.
