A break from the holiday rush

Ah, the holiday rush. The recent weeks have seemed like just that: a rush. Time is whirling around, so many events happening at once, everything has to be done in time, and I've been getting swept up in the lot of it. I've been slightly motivated creatively, but trying to juggle far too many things in life seems to stifle my motivation as well as soak up every minute of free time. I admit openly: I need a break to maintain my sanity. I'm going to be taking the next few days "off", if you will. I've had no time to reply to emails, comments, or much of anything, as much as I've wanted to, and they've backed up as a result. I apologize for all those waiting for my reply, please don't think I've forgotten about you.

So, to-morrow I will reply to all the wonderful words my friends have left for me (as well as calling my beautiful Hunstman for her birthday!), then have a quiet rest for the remaining few days until Christmas. I may try to work on a few blog entries in the quiet time, but feel no pressure to submit anything until I'm fully ready. I do have more than a couple lovely ideas, but I need to take it a little at a time. I always want to run when I need to steady my pace at walking first.

The bottom line: To-morrow, I will try my best to reply to all of my friends, then take just a few days to myself before Christmas and New Years. I may not be heard from until then.
