I won The Silver Thread Shop's mega giveaway! :) (Review)

Hi everybody! :) I'm so excited to announce that I won a mega giveaway on Instagram, hosted by @TheSilverThreadShop in honour of their newly opened Etsy Shop! Here's a link to said Etsy Shop.

 Simone, the shop owner, is SUCH a sweetheart, she is very kind and genuine, and her products are vegan, cruelty-free, and very high quality at extremely affordable prices. You can feel the love she puts into her work! I'm honoured to have won the giveaway and given an opportunity to collaborate with TheSilverThreadShop to get to have of their lovely treasures, and write this review to share the good word about them!

And here are my wonderful prizes! Here's what was listed on the official giveaway page:

• 1 full sized bottle of "Rapunzel's natural texture and growth hair elixir"
• 1 Nyai green tea and honey lip salve
• 1 travel sized bottle of "Ancient Queen Sage Spray"
• 1 travel sized bottle of "Celestial Travels Spray"

 Simone added some excellent touches with her presentation, everything was so nice in its own little box or velvet bag (as shown in the first two images). You can tell she truly cares about her customers. She also went above and beyond and included a third wrapped crystal (zebradorite), as well as a nice handwritten note. Below you can see all the goodies together! :)

Here is a close up of the crystals, from left to right, zebradorite, rose quartz, and amethyst. 

I think the amythest is my favourite, it's a beautiful specimen, and translucent! It was beautifully wrapped with some dangly beads, too, for use as a necklace or a hanging decoration. I love dual purpose things! :)

Next we have the travel sized sprays and the lip salve. I looove the teeny tiny travel sized bottles, just perfect for a purse! Both of them smell herby and wonderful, just what you'd expect from a holistic spray. Don't let the tiny size of the bottle fool you, they have a full sized scent, you only need a spray or two. They have such a good energy about them. 

The lip salve is in a cute little jar, also the perfect size for a purse. It's made with honey and green tea, and the taste reflects this. It's sweet and delicious, but not overpowering or "fake" tasting, like some artificially flavoured chapsticks. It has a very smooth creamy texture! :)

My new "thing" is photos of bottles on my windowsill, and these tiny beauties were no exception. The windowsill always looks a bit shabby chic, but I think it adds to the boho vibe of the products I often display there.

 And last, but certainly not least, we have the bottle of "Rapunzel's natural texture and growth hair elixir". Simone sent me a message after it'd been announced that I won the giveaway, asking how she could customize the hair elixir for me, with a few questions about my hair and properties I like most. I choose the elixir for brunettes, with a natural slight darkening effect. 

I love it! I just used it today, and when I was lathering it up, I was surrounded by a fantastic earthy scent like Mother Gaia Herself was washing my hair. :) It had a nice lather, and you don't have to use very much of it at a time. It left the wonderful earthy scent in my hair after I washed it out, albeit more faintly. I get a whiff of it every now and then, it's very nice! It felt very natural and nurturing on my hair, and it was very soft when it dried. I just love it. Mum was very fond of its scent, too!

Just as a bonus, here is the cute handwritten note I received in the card. Very heartfelt. :)

I'm so excited to have won this giveaway and gotten to test out these wonderful natural products that have been handmade with love. I highly encourage you to give The Silver Thread Shop's Etsy shop a browse if you're into natural/handmade/vegan products made with love. :) Great stuff at low, affordable prices, so they're accessible by everybody.
